Job Title: CDL Recycling Driver

At Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC, we are seeking a skilled CDL Recycling Driver to join our team. As a Recycling Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling recyclable materials to a recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collect and haul recyclable materials from designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the recycling plant.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to read and understand maps, perform physical requirements of the job, and enter/exit the truck safely.
  • Excellent truck driving and maneuvering skills, with a general knowledge of mechanics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, with a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to extreme weather conditions, high traffic areas, and residential and commercial waste.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
