Job Summary

Rumpke is a leading waste and recycling company seeking a skilled CDL Front Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely collecting and hauling waste and recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants.

Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to commercial customers on assigned routes, ensuring timely and professional service.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including route sheets and driver's logs.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, completing DVIR logs as required.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
  • At least 19 years of age and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
