Job Overview:

Petco is seeking a Sales Growth Leader to join our team at the Pet Care Center. As a key driver for the guest experience and leading a selling culture, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across all categories, including services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor partners in the culture of selling and engagement to support and drive the customer experience
  • Assist the General Manager in hiring, developing, scheduling, and managing a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth
  • Implement and execute guest-centric programs such as nutrition standards, companion animal sales, seasonal promotions, and services to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Lead with an Omni Channel sales mindset to solve for the guest needs, including services, vet services, loyalty programs, BOPUS, endless aisle, and repeat delivery

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent required; some college level business/management courses preferred
  • 2 or more years of management experience or the equivalent is required, with 3 or more years preferred
  • Licensed to operate a motor vehicle
  • Proficiency in communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills required to include: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications as needed
