Key Responsibilities

  • Meticulously clean and sanitize public spaces, guest rooms, and restrooms; manage waste disposal and replenish supplies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards; maintain organization in linen rooms and workspaces.
  • Occasionally interact with and assist guests while servicing guest and meeting rooms.
  • Report maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure all lost and found items are logged and turned in daily.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in housekeeping within a hotel environment is highly preferred. Experience in commercial cleaning or customer service is also advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to instructions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for simple calculations.
  • No high school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; proficient use of hands for cleaning tasks.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness standards.
