Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team as a Child Behavior Specialist in an in-home setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed to improve social, communication, and adaptive skills in children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA to address specific client goals, including reducing problematic behaviors and teaching new skills.">
  • Accurately record data on client behaviors and progress, ensuring that the BCBA can effectively monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed.">
  • Through structured and naturalistic teaching methods, assist clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.">
  • Provide compassionate and consistent support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.">
  • Collaborate with families to teach strategies and interventions that can be used outside of therapy sessions to support client progress.">
  • Communicate openly and regularly with the BCBA, other team members, and families regarding client progress, challenges, and any changes in behavior.">
  • Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA) and ensure that all practices are conducted with integrity and professionalism.">

  • Must hold an active and valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).">
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a behavior intervention setting is required.">
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents.">
  • Reliable transportation is required, as the position involves traveling to clients' homes.">
