Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assist physicians in the completion of radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiologic positioning and exposure techniques, adhering to hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal, and hospital regulations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements, enhancing knowledge and technical competence to provide optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT R.T. (R) certification or registry eligibility, with a commitment to obtaining ARRT within 6 months of hire date.
  • 1 year of post-graduate experience preferred, with a strong foundation in radiologic principles and practices.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and well-being.
