Job Summary

Newburyport Bank is seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, building strong relationships, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and making recommendations to meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on all Newburyport Bank products and services, making recommendations to customers and promoting our offerings.
  • Meet performance goals, consistently delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of the team.
  • Participate in bank-wide incentive programs and business development initiatives, driving growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Minimum of high school education or equivalent, plus 3+ years of retail or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of math and cash handling, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as requested.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
