Workday Adaptive Planning Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Adaptive Planning Integration Engineer to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and various other systems, including Apptio and Alteryx.
  • Utilize Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, Alteryx plug-ins, and other integration tools to build robust data integrations.
  • Monitor and maintain existing integrations, ensuring data accuracy and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new integrations or enhancements to existing integrations.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and integration designs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide recommendations on integration solutions that best meet business needs and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders during integration projects, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations for Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Strong technical expertise with Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand financial processes and data flows.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning or Integration certification is highly desirable.
