Piper Companies FPGA Design Engineer Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced hardware products. The FPGA Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based solutions for hardware products onsite in San Jose, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for hardware products.
  • Perform verification and validation of FPGA designs through simulations and testing.
  • Write and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of FPGA designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and performance of hardware solutions.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years' experience in FPGA design.
  • Strong knowledge of running simulations and writing tests for FPGA designs.
  • Proficiency with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, or Nexus SmartNICs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and work onsite in San Jose, CA.
Compensation and Benefits:

Piper Companies offers a comprehensive benefit package, including Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, and Paid Holidays. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $170,000 annually.
