Job Description

At SP+, we're driven by our promise to make every moment matter for a world on the go. As a Cashier, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring every interaction meets our high standards.
  • Be punctual and present for every scheduled shift, ready to assist customers and manage cash transactions.
  • Count and record revenue at the start of each shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect cash and/or validations, maintaining the security of cash and providing excellent customer service.
  • Make change, issue receipts or tickets, and calculate transactions with precision.
  • Operate the cash register, accurately processing transactions and displaying costs to customers.
  • Quote prices for parking services and provide directions to city locations, ensuring customers reach their destinations efficiently.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls in a courteous and timely manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the booth and surrounding area.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and work aids.
  • Verify shift transactions against the bank of revenue on hand, compiling and recording collected revenue.
  • Prepare shift reports, detailing transactions, cars in/out of the facility, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience or training a plus.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license (if applicable).
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
