We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Cashier to join our team at Natural Grocers. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cashiers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide World Class Customer Service and a positive customer experience as the number one priority.
- Team Management: Train and direct cashiers, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and services.
- Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the front end, including cash handling, returns, and overrides.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that front-end sets are full and well-maintained.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, cashiers, and other team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 1 year of cashiering experience and 1 year of supervising others preferred.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.
- Certifications: Ability to pass food safety training courses and/or certifications as required by law.
