Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a skilled and motivated Head Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of cashiers and assisting with operational issues.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
- Operational Support: Assist with potential customer assistance issues at the register, assign store sweeps, and maintain cash register supply levels.
- Team Management: Schedule and oversee proper execution of meal and rest breaks, assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers, and take necessary steps for disciplinary actions.
- Security and Loss Prevention: Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues.
- Experience: 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
- Skills: Dependability, reliability, outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, ability to interact with customers, and operate front-end equipment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry product horizontally/vertically weighing up to 30 lbs., and use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs.
- Competitive Pay: $24.55/hour.
