We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). As a PA in this role, you will work closely with our attending physicians to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations to evaluate patients for admission
  • Perform bedside diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, coordinate tests and consultations, and implement treatment plans
  • Communicate with referring and consulting physicians, perform patient education, and prepare patients for discharge
  • Assume responsibility for patients in accordance with service policies and protocols

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited American Medical Association-approved Physician Assistant training program
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants within one year of hire
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
