About the Role:The Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive philanthropy program that includes annual campaigns, planned giving, and major gifts. This role will also involve cultivating relationships with donors and overseeing all fundraising activities in collaboration with the Board of Directors, Philanthropy Committee, and core leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive philanthropy program
- Cultivate relationships with donors and oversee all fundraising activities
- Develop and execute strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and corporate donors
- Collaborate with the Philanthropy Committee to implement goals and adjust the philanthropy action plan
- Oversee all aspects of donor database management, including gift entry, reporting, cultivation, and prospect research
- Coordinate the production of fundraising materials, including donor and corporate proposals
- Provide leadership and support to the Executive Director and management on fundraising efforts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; CFRE preferred
- Minimum of five years of nonprofit development experience with a successful track record in individual, foundation, and corporate campaigns
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and donor software
- Knowledge of accounting principles related to fundraising
- Valid California Driver's License and auto insurance approval
- Competitive medical and dental insurance
- 4 weeks paid time off to be used annually, plus holidays and sick time
- $80,000 - $90,000 per year
