Job Summary

We are seeking a Transit Ambassador to work on an on-call basis in the Baltimore area. As a Transit Ambassador, you will assist MTA customers with disabilities, ensuring equal access to transit facilities. Your responsibilities will include directing customers, providing assistance with fare vending machines, and inspecting station facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist MTA customers with disabilities to ensure equal access to transit facilities
  • Provide assistance with directing customers, fare vending machines, and inspecting station facilities
  • Work with bus bridges/shuttles during construction and road detours
  • Provide customer service support during special events
Requirements
  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Android-based cell phone
  • Ability to stand for at least 4 hours at a time
  • Competence in using apps and willingness to get familiar with the Transit App
  • Good customer service skills
