Job Summary:

Sysco is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of local initiatives and executing regional and corporate programs. Your primary goal will be to create an environment that attracts, develops, retains, and engages talent throughout the organization to deliver business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and conduct new associate orientation, unemployment claims processes, onboarding and exit interviews, transitional return to work, leave administration, and OSHA reporting.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to associates and supervisors regarding policy and procedure.
  • Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to recruit and staff according to business needs.
  • Maintain the eTime system and payroll-related activities.
  • Collaborate with HRBP to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources management preferred, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field required for external candidates, but preferred for internal candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
  • Workday experience.
