Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel road equipment including tractors and trailers to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards
  • Complete documentation of all repair orders and parts accountability
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed
Requirements:
  • 3 years of commercial Diesel mechanic or reefer experience
  • OR 2 years of Diesel Mechanic exp with TK or Refrigeration certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with EPA and OSHA regulations
Benefits:
