Dance Instructor

We are seeking passionate and experienced Dance Instructors to join our esteemed School for Performing Arts. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the artistic development of our students while fostering a love for dance within our community.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging dance instruction across various styles, including Hip Hop, West African, Latin Fusion, and Contemporary.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the Performing Arts Director to ensure the smooth operation of dance programs and events.
  • Engage with families and communicate effectively regarding student performance and program updates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Dance or Education, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience teaching dance to children and/or adults.
  • Strong understanding of various dance techniques and styles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
