GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with the policies and procedures of Crayola Experience. The role involves performing and supervising various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains and cleans restrooms.
- Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.
- Collects and disposes of waste materials.
- Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
- Dusts furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills with treated cleaning materials.
- Manages inventory of cleaning and restroom supplies.
- May assist with snow removal and salting at entry points.
- Provides assistance during evacuations and emergencies as required.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in cleaning environments such as family attractions, educational institutions, or similar settings is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Capable of completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is necessary.
- Must hold First Aid and CPR certification and be knowledgeable about cleaning infectious materials.
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally, the employee will walk, use hands and fingers to operate tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
