They will uphold the integrity of training objectives while ensuring a knowledge repository that aligns with the comprehensive requirements outlined in the contract.

As subject matter experts, they will play a pivotal role in the development and assessment of requirements.

They will provide valuable insights and expertise to support programs and leaders across all levels, including high-ranking officials in both civilian and military sectors.

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract.

The selected candidate will be offered the role contingent on the contract being awarded to our organization.

Requirements

6 years of relevant experience in the following:
  • Subject matter expertise in respective task requirements (e.g., Academics, Warfare Areas, Program or Policy support)
  • Training management
  • Navy and/or Defense training operations, policies, doctrines, systems, and procedural guidelines
  • Conducting fleet training assessments to identify gaps, training needs, and solutions
  • Developing and modifying training event/exercise scenarios
  • Delivering training in person and/or online
  • Creating training curricula
  • Managing training projects
  • Designing tailored training to meet Fleet/Joint training objectives
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • 5 years of experience as a senior instructor/evaluator
  • 2 years of experience as a JSAF operator is preferred but not mandatory

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an unspecified field of study.

8 years of experience is required if no degree is held.

Equivalent to a degree is two years of Resource Band experience.


Personnel Clearance Level:

The candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD-issued Secret security clearance.

A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.


Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

Support Tasks:
  • Deliver and oversee on-site academic instruction for training audiences and provide MTT instruction for various groups and teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver instructional materials supported by outlines, lesson plans, reference materials, briefs, lectures, videos, scenarios, animations, handouts, student and instructor workbooks, and study guides.
  • Translate academic content, lessons learned, emerging doctrinal changes, and training requirements into usable training products and services.
  • Research, analyze, and implement effective learning strategies and methods to train and sustain a quality instructional staff.
  • Develop and provide inputs for course completion reports following training delivery.
  • Provide recommendations regarding materials needed for a tactical reference library.
  • Assess courseware, delivery methods, and new application versions to determine impact and functionality.
  • Monitor application development schedules and assess equipment requirements for future releases.
  • Inform management of equipment, personnel, training, specialized expertise, and time requirements necessary for future training.
  • Provide input to scheduling officers regarding annual academic course scheduling.

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 annually.
