Job Summary

This is a senior-level leadership position responsible for overseeing Inbound and Outbound Warehouse, Fleet Services, Facilities Management, Transportation, and Operating Systems. Key responsibilities include achieving key performance metrics, expense management, strategic execution of site and corporate initiatives, compliance with government regulations, safety and security of the building, its associates, and contents.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver site-level execution of key corporate and regional Operations initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all Operations departments by championing efficiency ideas and cost reduction measures.
  • Create a culture of care and collaboration within the site, implementing and following all aspects of Operations Connections.
  • Adjust departments' activities, policies, and practices to meet or exceed key performance metrics and customer service level goals.
  • Prepare and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with direct input from the management team.
  • Oversee operating budget management, including labor, benefits, supplies, company assets, capital investments, depreciation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Evaluate fiscal metrics and adjust activities to meet or exceed performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
  • 10 years of professional experience with demonstrated progressive levels of management experience, including at least 5-7 years in operational management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and working knowledge of environmental regulations/legislation and governing bodies.
  • Ability to work in a disciplined manner and follow established procedures, practices, and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Working Conditions
  • The associate works non-traditional business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.
  • Must be able to travel to other sites and/or regions or the corporate office as business needs dictate.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
