Senior Medication Care Specialist

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Medication Care Specialist. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while adhering to federal, state, and local laws, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of medication administration, including daily logs and resident medication information.
- Communication: Collaborate with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and Wellness Nurse to ensure seamless communication and updates on resident medication needs.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including medication lists and other sensitive data.
- Certifications: Must maintain certifications in CPR and First Aid, as well as any state-specific requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Skills: Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents, react calmly in difficult situations, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and qualifications.
