Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at KIK Consumer Products. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment on our 2nd shift production line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections, monitoring, and testing of machinery and equipment
  • Dismantle malfunctioning machines and equipment, replacing or installing new parts as needed
  • Perform thorough cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, and various machinery components
  • Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, ensuring the repair or replacement of gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components
  • Acquire a profound understanding of all machinery utilized in the production process to ensure optimal functionality through proper operating procedures
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, fostering good housekeeping practices in all relevant work areas
  • Execute line changeovers for different products, including the setup of the dilution system to precise specifications
  • Promptly notify the Production Manager and Plant Manager of any equipment issues, demonstrating an analytical approach to problem-solving and providing assistance to others as necessary

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance
  • Proficiency in machinery inspection, repair, and assembly
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to perform line changeovers and address equipment issues promptly
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Able to work in an environment with bleach fumes and handle chemicals
  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comfortable working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
