Physical Requirements: Regular repetitive motion. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, along with prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.

Position Overview: The Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Care is responsible for delivering specialized patient care to individuals experiencing significant acute or chronic health conditions, or those seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness.

Key Responsibilities: The role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Conducting skilled assessments
  • Developing and implementing care plans
  • Providing patient education
  • Performing clinical evaluations and interventions

This position necessitates collaboration with healthcare professionals operating under time-sensitive conditions in a dynamic ambulatory care environment, emphasizing patient-centered care with a focus on quality, safety, and service excellence.

Essential Skills and Knowledge: A foundational understanding of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is essential for success in this role. Basic computer proficiency, including MS Windows, Word, and Outlook, is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with pediatric experience are preferred, along with one or more of the following certifications:

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is also preferred.
