Position Overview

Spitzer Industries, a leading name in the design and manufacturing of high-quality equipment, is on the lookout for a dedicated Material Handler to enhance our operations.

Daily Responsibilities of the Material Handler

  • Understand the layout of the warehouse and effectively stage and locate materials.
  • Safely manage the loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
  • Execute tasks in accordance with shop standards, company protocols, and supervisor directives.
  • Ensure materials are organized and stored in their designated areas.
  • Verify that all items are accurately tagged and labeled.
  • Possess knowledge of operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and cranes (training will be provided).
  • May operate forklifts to transport materials to production zones.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines as stipulated by the company.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Material Handler position at Spitzer Industries should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures.

Compensation

Spitzer Industries offers competitive salaries based on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule

We operate on two shifts, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime on weekends as necessary. Flexibility in hours may be required to meet production demands.
