Qualifications:

This role typically requires an Associate's Degree along with 2-3 years of relevant mortgage lending experience, with a Bachelor's degree being strongly preferred. Candidates should possess:
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations (FHA, VA Conventional, FHLMC, FNMA, and private investor).
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to grasp complex technical information.
  • Proficiency in operating a PC and 10-key by touch.
  • Familiarity with underwriting criteria.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • NMLS certification is required.

Working Environment:

This position is primarily office-based with the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
