Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Case Manager to join our team at Mike Hostilo Law Firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing assigned cases, gathering and organizing relevant information, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Proactively make weekly follow-up calls to clients regarding case status updates, answer or promptly return all incoming client calls, and address any concerns presented by clients.
  • Case Documentation: Collaborate with clients to gather all related bills, records, and documents regarding their case, prepare each case for settlement negotiations, and document all relevant information in preparation for paralegal and attorney review.
  • Coordination of Case Management Processes: Institute effective time management and organization strategies to manage assigned caseload and coordinate resources, communicate with team members and/or other departments regarding a particular case, and interact with medical providers, adjusters, and other third parties related to assigned case(s).
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking is preferred.
  • Two years' relevant experience in a professional, customer-centric role required; professional experience in a legal environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and understand basic medical records and terminology required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools required; knowledge of Case Management software (e.g., Filevine) preferred. Familiarity with auto insurance claims process preferred.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail in all tasks performed, with a focus on documenting all relevant aspects of a case that will inform the attorney's actions.
  • Proactively communicates proficiently and collaboratively both verbally and in writing with clients, internal team members, and third parties.
  • Maintains exceptionally high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Takes ownership of work and demonstrates commitment to quality in every task performed.
