Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Lead to join our team at Steven Charles in Pembroke, NC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production and packaging line. Your expertise will ensure that our products are produced safely, efficiently, and meet all quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor line performance, quality, and safety to ensure compliance with company standards
• Blend ingredients according to established formulas and procedures
• Ensure all recipes follow material usage variance guidelines
• Operate equipment, report defects, and train employees on equipment usage
• Plan and assign daily tasks, verify completion, and maintain documentation
• Maintain hygiene standards, consistent with GMP standards and Master Sanitation Schedules
• Train new and existing employees, and effectively communicate with other departments
• Work with Production Supervisors to ensure daily planning is followed efficiently
• Collaborate with QA team to ensure food safety standards and procedures are followed

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Flexibility to work various and extended hours and shifts
• Demonstrated strong supervision and teamwork skills
