Continuous Improvement Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team at Steven Charles, a leading premium dessert company. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement lean operating systems, driving process improvements and reducing waste.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement activities across the business, engaging the workforce at all levels to gain commitment and understanding of business change.
- Institutionalize standardized work, problem-solving, and pull systems as fundamental building blocks for the organization.
- Coach and mentor managers, supervisors, leads, and operators on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement fundamentals.
- Work closely with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Drive a problem-solving rather than a problem-identifying approach.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing lean and continuous improvement techniques and methodologies.
- Passionate and tenacious approach to yield tangible improvements.
- Approachable and engaging manner with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Capacity to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively collect and analyze data.
- Previous direct experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand and work on the production floor for extended periods.
- May travel 10 to 20%.
