Job SummaryWe are seeking a licensed professional Structural Engineer to join our expanding professional design services team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant design engineering experience and a strong desire to learn, collaborate, and innovate.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare design calculations for projects using local approved codes.
- Conduct structural analysis of projects using a variety of analysis software.
- Model structures and create structural framing plans, sections, and details using Revit.
- Visit sites to assist in documenting and measuring existing framing conditions.
- Meet with clients and other consultants to coordinate the structural design work for projects.
- Design components of buildings such as timber framing, concrete framing, masonry framing, light gauge framing, and steel framing and connections.
- Perform structural engineering design and prepares design and construction documents.
- Coordinate structural engineering design concepts with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.
- Review shop drawing, RFIs and submittals for approval of construction.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
- Six (6) years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
