Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed professional Structural Engineer to join our expanding professional design services team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant design engineering experience and a strong desire to learn, collaborate, and innovate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare design calculations for projects using local approved codes.
  • Conduct structural analysis of projects using a variety of analysis software.
  • Model structures and create structural framing plans, sections, and details using Revit.
  • Visit sites to assist in documenting and measuring existing framing conditions.
  • Meet with clients and other consultants to coordinate the structural design work for projects.
  • Design components of buildings such as timber framing, concrete framing, masonry framing, light gauge framing, and steel framing and connections.
  • Perform structural engineering design and prepares design and construction documents.
  • Coordinate structural engineering design concepts with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.
  • Review shop drawing, RFIs and submittals for approval of construction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
  • Six (6) years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
