About WTCR:
WTCR is a leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in Texas, specializing in methadone and buprenorphine therapy along with counseling services for individuals affected by Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Our goal is to improve the lives of our patients, enabling them to break free from the cycle of addiction and pursue a sustainable recovery.

Role Responsibilities:
The staff nurse is responsible for executing assigned nursing tasks, which include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direct supervision of a WTCR physician. Key responsibilities encompass:

  • Providing essential information regarding patients' clinical conditions.
  • Administering medications and conducting patient assessments.
  • Managing inventory and overseeing medical orders.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

  • Work hours are early mornings, Monday to Friday from 5:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and Saturday from 5:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing education program.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must hold a valid nursing license in good standing as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in accurate and efficient medication administration.
  • Ability to assess the physical and mental health status of patients through observation and data collection.
  • Capable of performing required lab tests and obtaining necessary samples as directed.
  • Maintain precise medication and inventory records.
  • Utilize a standardized language for case presentations.
  • Exhibit respectful communication with patients and treatment team members.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a criminal background check and registry clearances.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening as mandated by state regulations.
