This role involves cross-departmental collaboration, delivering decision-making support, financial modeling, and establishing cost benchmarks and critical performance indicators for the organization. The position also includes monitoring operational outcomes against these benchmarks and participating in regular reviews with management to report essential data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate business intelligence initiatives by developing and maintaining metrics and KPIs to evaluate organizational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accuracy, accountability, and transparency by linking operational drivers to performance outcomes.
  • Expertise in evaluating, gathering, developing, and analyzing data for departmental and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and implement best practices throughout the organization.
  • Examine actual manufacturing costs against established standards/budgets; investigate and clarify variances; report findings as necessary; bring issues to management's attention.
  • Engage in budget creation, maintenance, reporting, and analysis of fixed assets, inventory, and other plant operations.
  • Oversee product pricing and costing models, providing insights on overall customer profitability.
  • Conduct timely analysis and preparation of customer/broker rebate obligations.
  • Perform ad-hoc cost analyses to support business functions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience; experience in manufacturing is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of staff.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities; capable of consistently meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • High proficiency in technology (advanced Excel, SAP B1, Red Zone).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
