About the Role

V2Soft is seeking a highly skilled VWF Engineer to join our team. As a VWF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing bumper jigs, managing jig quality, budget, and feedback from manufacturing sites. You will also be working with CAE programs to improve jig design, cleaning processes, and resin parts to meet all Toyota standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop bumper jigs and CAE programs to improve jig design and cleaning processes
  • Manage jig quality, budget, and feedback from manufacturing sites
  • Work with suppliers to maintain project schedule, budget, and quality milestones
  • Develop and design weld check fixtures
  • Collaborate with PE and external groups to gain a unified voice for programming requirements
  • Conduct on-line trials on the production floor to confirm actual results vs planned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline
  • 1+ year of experience in plastics/paint or related field
  • High-level experience and knowledge of CAE
  • Experience developing and designing weld check fixtures
  • High-level experience with Catia V5 and Hypermesh CAE simulation software
  • Ability to travel within North America, including Mexico and Canada, and Japan

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Rapid Prototyping and check fixture design
