Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ONEPOWER Consulting LLC. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical application support during the project development phase and oversee project installations at client facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer requirements and provide feedback to management regarding the company's ability to deliver effective products, equipment, services, training, and support.
  • Address customer needs and calculate project development costs, considering expenses, timelines, and manpower requirements.
  • Assist in training customers on technical specifications and operational procedures.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure that equipment, products, and services effectively meet their needs.
  • Install end products for clients and supervise contractors or labor as necessary to establish operational systems.
  • Interpret layout and equipment drawings.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer/Project Manager to gather project and technical information for bid packages.
  • Record, analyze, and summarize project costs under the guidance of the project manager.
  • Manage project activities on-site under the project manager's supervision.
  • Verify that all floor layouts align with prints/drawings.
  • Ensure installation specifications comply with bid documents.
  • Coordinate technical issues among contractors, the company, and clients.
  • Organize meetings with clients and contractors to ensure project continuity and communicate status and concerns.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parent companies and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products or equipment. Oversee the seamless transfer of goods for clients.

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of equipment installation, usage, service, and training needed to deliver high-quality products to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and operations.
  • Familiarity with the production and installation of robotic, conveyance, and manual welding equipment, as well as machining and assembly equipment.
  • Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
