We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for the oversight of pharmaceutical preparation and compounding, order verification, and dispensing of medications according to laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize drug therapy by identifying, resolving, and preventing drug-related problems and adverse drug events.
- Provide operational and clinical support at our Pediatric Clinic, working 100% on-site.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely medication orders.
- Perform quality control on medication orders and prepared medications.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and students, participating in their training and orientation.
- Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy, ambulatory care, or sterile compounding experience, or 5 years retail pharmacy experience with 2 years oncology experience.
- Completion of a PGY1 residency or equivalent experience.
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
