Position Overview
As a key member of the finance team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting functions.
2. Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all deliverables are met within established deadlines.
3. Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and proper documentation.
4. Prepare and distribute management reports, providing insights into financial performance.
5. Analyze financial data, including budget versus actual and forecast variances, to support decision-making.
6. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting practices.
7. Collaborate with external auditors, ensuring all requests and documentation are provided promptly.
8. Work closely with other finance teams to maintain financial accuracy and completeness.
9. Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
10. Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in public accounting or auditing is advantageous.
