Key Responsibilities


The RN Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a high-quality, safe, effective, and efficient program across all designated areas while collaborating with various institutional efforts.

This position involves partnering with physicians, nurses, administrators, and support staff to implement the program effectively.

The RN Program Coordinator also provides expert consultation to stakeholders and aids in the development of policies, practices, protocols, and procedures within the department, aligning with Mayo Clinic's institutional practices.

Essential functions of the RN Program Coordinator include serving as a resource, consultant, and project manager for program-related initiatives.

In collaboration with the healthcare team and other stakeholders, the coordinator is responsible for program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This role will also support necessary education and training while supplying meaningful insights for departmental leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.

The RN Program Coordinator is tasked with developing and maintaining effective relationships with various individuals throughout the institution and may engage with external contacts as required by job responsibilities.


Qualifications

- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
- Recent experience in RN program management; program oversight, project coordination, and/or leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge and experience with research methodologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing software for data collection, processing, and analysis.
- Certification in the relevant program specialty area, if applicable.

Licensure:
- Current RN license as per state regulations.
- Maintenance of Basic Life Support (BLS) competency from recognized programs.


Note: Positions not located on campus may not require current BLS competency as determined by the work area.

Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training may be required based on the work area.
