WORK ENVIRONMENT:

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Program Coordinator at Nymbus, Inc. is tasked with overseeing multiple simultaneous projects. These initiatives vary in complexity and necessitate close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external partners. The role demands proficiency in managing and balancing project scope, timelines, schedules, and budgets with minimal oversight. Essential skills include active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence outcomes. A comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is crucial for effectively guiding projects through their various phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employ the Nymbus project management framework to oversee projects of diverse sizes.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to establish and manage project charters, identify stakeholders, define project scope, and allocate budgets while addressing other project needs.
  • Oversee deliverables, budget management, and resource distribution.
  • Develop project schedules and milestones, adjusting as necessary to accommodate evolving requirements.
  • Document meeting minutes, change requests, and decision logs.
  • Represent business interests, escalating issues as needed to align outcomes with organizational strategies.
  • Establish and track specific performance metrics for all assigned projects.
  • Support and guide project team members, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet scope and budget constraints.
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes, PMO procedures, and communication standards.
  • Organize and manage project files to align with Nymbus project standards.
  • Collaborate with peers to refine PMO procedures and templates, ensuring a comprehensive and adaptive PMO process.
  • Utilize various communication strategies to foster understanding and engagement among project participants.
  • Prepare status updates, agendas, and meeting notes, leading productive project meetings focused on achieving objectives.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and relevant updates.
  • Design, manage, and refresh dashboards for executive teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate critical issues to mitigate project risks.
  • Maintain logs of decisions, including assumptions and discussions, ensuring all relevant parties are engaged to minimize risks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in banking or finance is essential.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or conversions is preferred.
  • A minimum of four years in a PMO role is preferred.
  • At least three years of project management or general management experience is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Basic understanding of programming techniques.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools, brainstorming techniques, and planning methodologies.
  • Understanding of fundamental IT structures and roles.
  • Strong communication skills across all management levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Capable of conducting research and resolving issues with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possesses a sense of urgency and a clear understanding of how to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Exceptional time management abilities.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Annual salary range of $105,000 – $120,000.
