The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process. This role involves communicating schedules and objectives to team members, training new staff, and interpreting company policies to facilitate smooth operations. The supervisor will organize the work environment, delegate tasks, and ensure that all employees are informed of their work schedules and responsibilities. Regular evaluations of work performance and adherence to safety regulations are also key components of this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure production and quality standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area at all times.
- Uphold and enforce all safety protocols and regulations.
- Implement company personnel policies fairly and uniformly.
- Keep management updated on all operational activities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a production setting preferred.
- Attention to detail and precision in task execution is essential.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Able to interpret both oral and written instructions effectively.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows applications (Excel and Word).
- Basic mathematical skills, including understanding ratios and percentages.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching capabilities.
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
