Job Summary

The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles at Hendrick Toyota Concord. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive parts and systems, as well as excellent mechanical skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to express lube guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform lube, oil, and filter changes, including draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints.
  • Report all necessary repairs to the service advisor.
  • Install completed LOF reminder stickers in vehicles.
  • Check and refill battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels as needed.
  • Check coolant level and refill as necessary.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
  • Check fluid levels prior to releasing vehicles to ensure proper levels.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Technical training or commensurate technical experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Work Environment

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Duties are performed primarily in the service area, and the employee is frequently exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions.
