Job Summary:

As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for performing inspection, testing, and maintenance repairs of locomotive diesel engines, components, and running gear in accordance with 49 CFR regulations and Amtrak standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical repairs to drive systems, wheels, and wheel sets
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
