Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Morada Deer Park.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while delivering exceptional service.
  • Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicles.
  • Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
  • Safely operate communication devices to report disruptions of service.
  • Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
  • Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
  • Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Experience in customer service environments, preferably in senior living settings.
  • Knowledge of safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
  • Competence in organization, time management skills, and handling multiple priorities.
