Halco Lighting Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Lighting Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical solutions to complex lighting-related questions and issues, ensuring seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and enhance escalation procedures, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical queries.
- Offer technical guidance and support to external customers, including agents, specifiers, engineers, distributors, electrical contractors, and end-users.
- Initiate in-depth discussions to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, exceeding their expectations.
- Work closely with customers and sales teams to understand project requirements and provide technical support from project inception to completion.
- Offer technical assistance and application guidance to the sales team, including wiring diagrams, photometric layouts, and controls layouts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience in lighting technical or application support, with a strong background in wiring luminaires and controls.
- Experience with AG132 is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel at least 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
