We are seeking a highly skilled Investigative Reporter to join our team at WINK News. As an Investigative Reporter, you will play a crucial role in uncovering significant stories that matter to our viewers.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough research and investigations to uncover original stories.
- Evaluate and fact-check information meticulously.
- Conduct interviews to gather detailed and reliable information.
- Write and produce journalistically sound news reports.
- Advance stories over minutes, hours, or days as new details emerge.
- Collaborate closely with the Assistant News Director, Digital News Director, and Executive Producer of Special Projects.
- Utilize digital tools, social media platforms, and content management systems to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field.
- Proven experience as a television news reporter, with a strong understanding of journalistic principles and ethics.
- Prior experience as an investigative reporter is a plus.
- Outstanding live and on-set reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and investigative skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Proficiency in digital tools and social media platforms.
