Environmental Scientist Role

We are seeking an Environmental Scientist to support our environmental assessment, investigation, remediation, and monitoring efforts at sites impacted by petroleum, chlorinated solvents, PFAS, or other contaminants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site investigations and remediation projects under various US state and Federal regulatory programs.
  • Lead the preparation of project documents, including work plans, technical memorandums, reports, tables, and figures.
  • Collaborate with a project team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, site personnel, client contacts, and regulators during field activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or a related field and 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and analysis skills.
  • Ability to obtain OSHA hazardous waste worker certification and 40-hour HAZWOPER health and safety training certificate.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional trainings and certifications related to the environmental field.
  • Experience with knowledge of remediation technologies and remediation systems.
  • Prior experience managing fieldwork.
