Cardiology Faculty Position

The Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence at Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking a talented Cardiologist to join our team as a full-time faculty member in the section of Non-Invasive General Cardiology.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in multimodality imaging, including peri-procedural imaging, and those who are Level 2 trained in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms. Additional experience in nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI studies is a valuable asset. Intraprocedural transesophageal echocardiography skills are also preferred.

This position offers a unique opportunity for teaching and research, with a focus on graduate medical education. We are seeking a candidate with a strong clinical and service record, as well as a successful research background.

To be considered, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Completion of a Cardiology fellowship program
  • Successful track record of clinical and service excellence, research experience, and interest in graduate medical education
  • Eligibility for North Carolina licensure
  • Rank commensurate with credentials and experience
