Cardiology APP

As a Cardiology APP - Structural Heart Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic cardiovascular team dedicated to improving outpatient access for Cardiology patients in a busy academic practice. Your expertise will focus on optimizing care and quality for Structural Heart patients, working closely with attending cardiologists, other cardiology APPs, and cardiology nurses and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with attending cardiologists to manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outpatient access and optimize care for Structural Heart patients
- Participate in educational and scholarly activities to elevate the academic clinical environment
- Contribute to weekly meetings to optimize post-procedural care, quality, and the overall care continuum
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program
- APP post-graduate experience is strongly preferred, with clinical experience in the cardiovascular field
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License and/or North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
