Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Setup Operator to join our team at DBG Arkansas, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press equipment to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate press equipment to produce parts according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, and report any defects or irregularities to management.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals, and communicate effectively with management and colleagues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, technical degree or diploma an asset.
  • Experience: 1-2 years' experience in press operation in a similar environment.
  • Skills: Good understanding of die functions and mechanics, good interpersonal and associate development skills.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to withstand a minimum of 10 hours on a concrete surface, lift up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
