Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ. As a key member of our Anesthesia Department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Provide medical management of patients undergoing anesthesia
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Monitor patients' physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed
  • Supervise and train anesthesia residents
Requirements
  • M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMC and FLEX completion
  • Approved residency in anesthesia
  • Current physician licensure
