Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic and operational HR leadership to a diverse team of managers and executives, focusing on transforming the leadership dynamics within the organization.
- Engage collaboratively with senior leadership and department heads on essential HR matters, fostering employee engagement and adherence to company policies.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to both staff and management, utilizing a solution-focused approach to navigate complex HR challenges.
- Exhibit a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, optimizing processes and making informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work alongside the General Counsel on intricate employment issues, including safety and workers' compensation matters.
- Facilitate ongoing training, mentorship, and development initiatives to nurture and elevate talent within the organization.
- Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure the prompt recruitment of high-quality candidates for various roles, including senior and confidential positions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Proven ability to address HR requirements for both corporate and operational settings.
- Over 15 years of pertinent HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience collaborating with staffing agencies and managing diverse teams.
- Preferred background in consumer goods, fashion logistics, or warehouse management.
- Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to fostering team innovation.
- In-depth knowledge of California labor regulations and experience in workers' compensation.
- Skilled in crafting clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
